The Management and Organization Studies Research Group’s specific research interests range from e.g. New Work, New Leadership and Organizational Design to Strategic Management challenges like e.g. Innovation Ecosystems and Strategic Organisational Change. Regarding these topics we actively seek the exchange with both the international academic community and our regional industry partners. We strive for high quality teaching for our international and domestic students.
You contribute to the research group in research, teaching and administration. You seek to be up to date regarding research topics and research methods. For your Ph.D. you write journal articles (both co-authored and single author), present your research at conferences and submit manuscripts to international journals. Our team welcomes both new ideas and active contributions. Depending on your research interests we offer access to data from our project www.innofarm-thueringen.org or to advance a preliminary study on Entrepreneurship Education.
We offer an interesting job with high self-responsibility in an interdisciplinary team. Trainings in research methods and collaboration with partner universities (e.g. Jena, Erfurt, Regensburg) are integral parts of our doctorate mentoring as well as granting access to our international contacts (e.g. Edith Cowan University, Perth/WA). We actively support your research projects and your first steps with regard to conference participation and the international community in our academic field. With a strong base in management and organization studies, interdisciplinary cooperation is important to us.
