In the Division of the Vice President for International Affairs and Transfer at the Technische Universität Ilmenau (Germany) the following vacancy is to be filled as soon as possible:
SUNRISE is an alliance of nine European universities that is currently being established and coordinated at TU Ilmenau. The participants aim to cooperate closely in the areas of teaching, research and transfer. SUNRISE stands for ‘Smaller (Strategic) University Network for Regional Innovative and Sustainable Evolution’.
The alliance is funded by the EU Commission as a European University Alliance from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2028.
As a SUNRISE Project Assistant, you will ensure the administrative processes run efficiently and expenditure is monitored, as well as planning and allocating resources to the various areas involved over the four-year project period. You will take part in the coordination meetings of the SUNRISE management committees and provide organizational support to the SUNRISE Project Manager. You will be involved in appropriate and active communication between the various departments at TU Ilmenau as well as with the project partners.
Your job tasks includes the following responsibilities:
Project management in close coordination with the SUNRISE consultant and project management
Time and financial management of SUNRISE resources
